We inform customers and interested parties of Innolytics® Software exclusively about relevant content or contact them within the scope of software use. | We only collect the data that support us in providing our software or send interested parties relevant information on innovation and digitalization. | Our software belongs to us. Your data belongs to you. We do not create mystical profiles and we do not carry out mysterious analyses. Everything is completely open and transparent. |
In summary: Data protection in a compact form
We explain in brief why we collect data and what happens with it. If you have a little more time, you will find a detailed version of the privacy policy on this page.
Why do we need data? |
---|
Innolytics AG offers cloud software that our customers use in idea and innovation management as well as for the management of innovative projects such as digital transformation.
- Interested users can create a free version of our software using a form or, as a customer, use a paid version. For this purpose we collect the data we need to offer and operate the software. This includes surname and first name, e-mail address and usage data (login, logout, platform activities etc.). According to our terms of use, this data must be true. Fake profiles are excluded from registration.
- Data provided to us when downloading a whitepaper or a study is used to send interested individuals relevant expert information. When downloading, we ask to what extent there is interest in receiving regular expert information. If you select “No”, the data will be deleted within a few hours from the Hubspot system used by us (see detailed privacy policy). If you select “Yes”, the data will be marked accordingly in the Hubspot system and information will be sent out regularly via a mailing list. In each mail, it is possible to unsubscribe from the information by clicking a link.
We also use automatically collected data to ensure that our software and our website are provided without errors and to optimize the content. For this purpose, we analyze user behavior in an anonymous form.
How do we collect data? |
---|
On the one hand, data is collected when users provide this information to us. This can be data that is entered into a form for creating a free software version or when requesting expert information. Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when the software is used and when the website is visited. These are mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of the page view).
Which analysis tools and third-party tools do we use? |
---|
We want customers and interested individuals to be able to discover features and information relevant to them when using our software and visiting our website. For this purpose, we statistically analyze the performance of our software and website traffic.
Innolytics® Software evaluates the usage patterns of users in anonymous forms. This concerns in particular the activities on individual platforms, the number of comments, likes and views and the duration of usage. This data is stored via the statistical functions of our software on the Innolytics® servers at Hetzner Online GmbH in Gunzenhausen (Bavaria / Germany). The automatic bug tracking system SENTRY notifies our development team when errors occur. User and platform name as well as the activity which caused the error are reported.
On our websites innolytics.de and innolytics.net the evaluation is mainly done with cookies and the following analysis and service programs: Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot and tawk.to When visiting our website, these types of analysis can be prevented by using certain tools. We recommend Ghostery as a blocker. Some functions of our website or our software can be blocked by using tools like Ghostery.
What rights do users have regarding their data? |
---|
Our users are owners of their data. We do not want to send irrelevant information to anyone. Our users can obtain information about the origin, recipient and purpose of the personal data stored at any time. We correct incorrect data immediately and block or delete all data. We provide data resulting from the use of the software in XML format on request. Users can contact us whenever they have questions by sending an e-mail to support@innolytics.de or by using the address given in the imprint.

8. Data Required for Obtaining Specialized Information and Using the Software
If interested parties wish to receive specialist information on a regular basis or create a platform, we require an e-mail address and information that allows us to check that the users concerned are the owners of the e-mail address provided and agree to receive the professional information. Further data is not collected or only collected on a voluntary basis. We use these data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass them on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered in the registration form is based exclusively on consent (Art. 6 paragraph 1 GDPR). The consent given for the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending specialized information can be revoked at any time, for example by using the “unsubscribe” link in every e-mail. When creating platforms, users who have been written to or invited against their will can also have themselves placed on a blacklist via a link. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data provided by users for the purpose of obtaining specialized information or using our software will be stored by us until they are removed from the distribution list and deleted after the cancellation of the specialized information or deactivation of the platform.
HubSpot
We use the service provider HubSpot to manage the specialized information and create landing pages. The registration for our specialist information is carried out in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that interested parties receive an e-mail after registration asking them to confirm their registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register with a different e-mail address than his or her own.
Use of the delivery service provider “HubSpot”
Among other things we use the e-mail marketing service “HubSpot”. If users use an offer on our website that requires the entry of an e-mail address, this may be stored on the servers of HubSpot. HubSpot is subject to TRUSTe ‘s Privacy Seal and the U.S. – EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S. – Swiss Safe Harbor Framework. See notes under 4.
Statistical survey and analyses
The newsletters contain a so-called “web-beacon”, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from HubSpot’s server when the newsletter is opened. In the context of this retrieval technical information, such as information about the browser and the system, as well as the IP address and time of the retrieval are collected. This information is used for technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times.
Statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our ambition nor that of HubSpot to monitor individual users. The analysis serves us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.
9. Concluding Remarks: SSL or TLS Encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that users send to us as site operator. Users can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in the browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that users transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. For the record, we would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
